Water Level

Low angle wildlife on the water

In my last post I talked about getting low to the ground to get a similar perspective to the smaller wildlife I tend to photograph. This time around I'll be showcasing the same low perspective with the added bonus of water.

Photographing wildlife at water level is another great way to get the same perspective as your subject. The water of course also allows for reflections which can make some photos even more interesting. Below are a collection of some of my favorite wildlife photos taken while laying right next to a small pond or sometimes even an ocean. I hope you enjoy this group of photos.

Nature photography has become a very passionate hobby of mine and whenever I get a chance I love to get outside and enjoy being outdoors. I am also the co-owner of KGM Expressions, a wedding and portrait photography business, with my wife Kim. This is how we make our living and I love that we get to do that together.
